We have installed a new rehearsal room reservation system that should prove to be more reliable than the old one. We realize there will a short period needed for members to become acquainted with its use. For the moment, when a reservation is made it will require an approval. The system automatically sends an email to the member once the reservation is approved. Please note, until you received that confirmation your reservation is not 100% complete. After a short while we will remove that approval process and see how things go. Should any abuses occur, the approval process will be reinstated.
Member may reserve in 30-minute periods, and are limited to no more than a 2-hour block, and no more than 4 hours per week, thereby allowing equitable access for all members. Member may not combine their time to extend the allowed time. Member needing addition time may request so – in advance – by emailing [email protected]. Noise must be kept down to a minimum after 10 PM, so now musical rehearsals or loud shouting is permitted as a courtesy to the building hotel accommodations. Priority is given to club events and meetings. For example, the first Wednesday of each month is our Tales of The Lambs gathering, and Fridays after 5:30 are set for Low Jinks gatherings and rehearsals.
Some member are abusing the 5th floor space. Members who continue to overuse the space will have their floor privileges revoked and may face suspension.
