Portrait leftRobert E. Tevis was elected a Theatrical member on 30 July 2015. Bob is a writer, photographer, and critic. He writes a monthly column for Classic Images magazine called Rare Sightings on film and film history. His articles and reviews on entertainment have appeared in Films of the Golden Age, Screentalk, and Written By. He has been a member of the Authors Guild since 2004.

He also writes and lectures on business topics—particularly the art of negotiating. His book, Keep Your Hands out of My Pocket, is a financial self-defense guide on negotiating for significant purchases. The Midwest Book Review called it “a straightforward and “user-friendly” instructional guide for budget conscious consumers.”

He spent over thirty years in business working for both IBM and Siemens, retiring from Siemens Corporate Research in 2010. While at IBM and Siemens, in addition to his normal duties, he would often be called upon to create entertaining sketches and short plays for company meetings. Bob lives in New Jersey.
