Piano Fundraising

boston grandPlease donate:  The Lambs Foundation is raising funds to replace two failing pianos. One is a nearly 100 year-old Stroud baby grand, located in our performance space, which has a cracked sound board (and won’t stay tuned). The other is a 60-year old Steinway upright piano – our work horse – and worn out. It’s repair costs come close to the price of a replacement.

We are launching an effort to raise funds to replace both pianos with Steinway Boston pianos (models GP-156 PE and
UP-118S PE
), for a total cost of $26,000. Steinway & Sons has offered a discount on the purchase … and we love a Steinway! Not only do we have Steinway Artists among our membership (Rosa Antonelli and Donald Pippin), but Charles Steinway was elected a Lamb in 1906.

The Lambs Foundation is staffed solely by hard-working volunteers.

Other events will include a concert by Lamb Shana Farr, a concert by Enid and the Boys, and a performance by the Emmy winning comic Lamb Dave Konig….and a Shepherd’s luncheon: Conversations with Matthew Broderick, on Tuesday, October 18th.
